Chapati
印式麥餅, also known as Roti or Phulka, is a staple Indian flatbread made from whole wheat flour. The dough is simple, comprising just flour, water, and a pinch of salt, and is kneaded until smooth. Small portions of the dough are rolled out into thin, round discs and then cooked on a hot griddle until they puff up and develop light brown spots. Chapati is soft, pliable, and has a mild, slightly nutty flavor. It is often enjoyed with a variety of Indian dishes, such as curries, dals, and vegetables, making it a versatile and essential part of everyday meals.
